the links between the aristocracies and the church were really strong as the aristocrats often owned churches , electing priests .
1)they exploited they estates of the church for their own interests
2) moreover priests and bishops used to sell religious offices and the wealth connected to them that means you will get all the economic and political power that was linked to the office
3) moreover priests get married or to live with women
therefore there was a great need to reform from both spiritual and moral point of view

access to chivalry was free if you havr enough income but after 11th and 12th centuries the knights formed a close aristocratic group in which social status was inherited , you could become a knight only if your father was a knight
