Definitions
Suspect
There must be some reasonable grounds, objective grounds for the suspicion, based on known facts or information which are relevant to the likelihood the offence had been committed and the person questioned committed it. PACE Code C
Interview
An intervies is the questioning of a person regarding their involvement or suspected involvement in a criminal offence or offenced Code C PACE
If a person is under arrest and this should be conducted in the Police Station of other authorised place of detention. Code C PACE

Investigators should recognise the positive impact of an early admission in the contact of the criminal justice system. Benefits of an early admission relate to the following area.
