belief & trust
he stands at the right hand of the needy one
to save the needy one from those who condemn his soul to death
Because of the relationship with God, David called for God's actions
God's attention
be not silent
to his foes
ethical perspective
let
his prayer
be counted as
sin
let curses come upon him
personal being
may
his days
be
few
may his children become fatherless
his wife a widow
may his posterity be cut off
may his name be blotted out in the second generation
possessions
may another take his office
may his creditor seize all that he has
may the strangers plunder the fruits of all his toils
social judgments
When he
is tried
,
let
him come forth
guilty
let there be none extend kindness to him
they arise and are put to shame
may my accusers be clothed dishonor
may they wrapped in their own shame
his relatives
may his children wander about and beg
seeking food far from the ruin they inhabit
may the iniquity of his father be remembered before the Lord
let not the sin of his mother be blotted out
the relationship with God
HE may cut off the memory of them from the earth
may the blessing far from him
as a reward from the Lord
may cursing? soak into his body like water
a belt he puts on everyday
like a garment wraps around him
like oil in bones
deliver me
help me O Lord My God
save me according to Your steadfast love
let them know it is Your hand
the Lord have done it
his situations
verbal attacks
speaking against me with
lying tongues
they encircle me with words of
hate
wicked and deceitful mouths
are opened
against
me
I am an object of scorn to my accusers; when they see me, they wag their heads
let them curse
reasons for being attacked
without cause
gave and returned
in return for my love, they accuse me
they reward me evil for good
hatred for my love
David's responses
I gave myself to prayer
deal on my behalf, for YOUR name sake
(let them curse), but you will bless
but your servant will be glad
with my mouth, I will give my great thanks to the Lord
I will praise him in the midst of the throng
man attacks
appoint
a
wicked
man
against
him
let
an
accuser
stand at his right hand
his feeling
I am poor and needy
my heart is stricken within me
fading
I am gone like a shadow at evening
I am shaken off like a locust
his body
my knees are weak through fasting
my body has become gaunt, with no fat
his foes
not show kindness
pursued the poor and needy and the brokenheart
put them to death
loved to curse
did not delight in blessing
clothed himself with cursing as his coat
my accusers
speak evil against my life
