Macromolecules Function
Nucelic acids-DNA: genetic instructions(SOD1 gene couldve been affected it impacts motor neurons) RNA:takes genetic info out of nucleus and make a protein
-
Cells Function
Neurons: specialized cells of the central nervous system(specifically motor neurons are affected with ALS)
-
-
-
-
Upstream Causes
Direct Cause: challenges completing normal tasks because of a problem with upper motor neurons and lower motor neurons
