- initial stream - urethra
- pan-stream - bladder and above
- terminal stream - bladder neck/prostatic urethra
Significant microscopic haematuria:
Upper UTS: abdo pain, loin to groin
LUTS: FUN (dysuria, discharge) DISHE
Cx:
- anaemic sx
- obstructive nephropathy (from clots) --> UTI, hydronephrosis
Urine dipstick: RBC +
- haematuria
- myoglobinuria, haemoglobinuria, menses, BO, drugs, beetroot

- microscopic
-TITS
- exercise-induced haematuria
- glomerulonephritis/Minimal change disease
- chronic diseases
- autoimmune
- drugs
- structural causes
- nephritic syndrome
- nephrotic syndrome
Post-obstructive: BPH
Renal calculi
- obstructive nephropathy/hydronephrosis + UTI
- Collect stone for analysis
