Plants infection
- 14 days old seedlings of rice cultivar CO-49/ 10 days old of barley cultivar golden promises ( susceptible to plant disease)
- prepare 10^4 ml M. grisea conidial suspension in 0.2% (v/v) gelatin.
- sprayed suspension evenly onto rice plants
- incubate seedlings in controlled env chamber- until symptoms appear
- record disease lesion densities (20-30 infected leaves using 5 cm section)
- infection three times, 45 plants per
