Cardiac Muscle :Cell are long, cylindrical, branched, and has single central nucleus
Smooth muscles: Cells are spindle shaped with single central nucleus and has no striations, appears smooth
Skeletal muscle: Cells are long, cylindrical, parallel and multifaceted

- As a muscle contracts, it pulls the insertion bone closer to the origin bone
