before each part of dialogues the character name should be written in Caps lock and centred on the page

as you 're writing dialogue, ask yourself,"what am i trying to tell the readers about the character or the story?"
if you don't have an answer to those questions, scrap the dialogue

conversations can have more than one thing going on in them, so you want to make sure you capture the subtext of the situation
