if she continues practically starving herself, she will be as bad off as an obese person.
if she changes her diet slowly and learns new, healthier behaviors she will gain her strength back an so will her immune system.
if she starts consuming the correct amount of protein, carbohydrates, etc. then she will gain strength over time.

if she continues to blind herself in this fad of being unhealthy and too skinny to function, she will probably get the point of not functioning and will continue to worsen in her health.
