Professor Mark Williams (n.d), former director of the Oxford Mindfulness Centre - "It's about allowing ourselves to see the present moment clearly. When we do that, it can positively change the way we see ourselves and our lives."
Mindfulness is recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) as a way to prevent depression in people who have had 3 or more bouts of depression in the past. (NHS, n.d cited in Clinical Guidelines, 2009)
Mini-conclusion
If these are not successful treatment give some more examples of alternative treatments and a little explanation of what it is in footnote but don't go into detail.
majority of sources found doesn't have enough information on the different types of alternative treatments evaluation points therefore I would link it to general information based on an overall and mindfulness and pick up some points along the way to do with peer/co and art therapy (as they are quite similar)
