Ice Ages
-
during the Ice age huge sheets of ice covered most of the land. These ice sheets were formed from ocean water, leaving ocean levels lower than they are now.
scientists believe that during the Stone Age the ocean level dropped and created a land bridge, allow people to move around the world
Clothing and Shelter

people also made and had homes. Some made caves in to their home, and when the people moved out of places with caves, they would build their own shelters.
some people made pit homes, which were homes made of a hole in the ground with branches and leaves made into their roofs, and other people made tents as their home made of animal skins. and some people made their houses wood, stone, or clay, and even bones from large people.
people also adapted to new environment, the had smaller tools, and more complex

this period began 10,000 years ago, and lasted 5,000 years ago
during the middle stone age people found different uses for bones, and people near water made fishing hooks and rods, and other groups made bow and arrows
people also devolved new technologies, for example people learned how to make canoes by hollowing out logs
