Kerensky appoints General Kornilov as Supreme Commander of the army
Kornilov decides the PG is too weak. Goes to Petrograd to overthrow them. Kerensky panics and releases the Bolshevik leaders from prison and supplies them with weapons
Kornilov arrested and Bolsheviks gain control of Petrograd and Moscow
