The International Coaching Federation defines coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. “. Put another way, Coaches use questions and investigation to help people creatively solve problems.
Agile Coaches are a unique mixture of skills and capabilities.
Coaching: Using the principles of agility, systems thinking and empiricism, Agile coaches partner with their teams and clients to help them solve complex problems with powerful questions and facilitated conversations.
Teaching: Using deep knowledge of agile process frameworks and their application Agile Coaches teach teams and clients the principles and fundamentals of the tools they need to solve complex problems.
Mentoring: Using their experience across industries, Agile Coaches provide practical and tactical examples of applying agile techniques to help clients and teams imagine how they can solve their complex problems.
