What was more significant in causing the American Revolutionary War? The Boston Massacre or Taxation without representation? Why?
The cause of the American Revolutionary War was Taxation without representation. I think that if the people had no power, no representation, all they did was work and survive, and even after working and earning money they had to pay the British and had no power to stop it, they might as well be dead. They also had to pay and feed British soldiers who came to their house, took their money and ate their food. that really pissed the colonies off and they had to resort to violence.
