RULES FOR SEA AND INLAND WATERWAY TRANSPORT
DDP – Delivered Duty Paid
EXW – Ex Works
DAP – Delivered at Place
FOB – Free On Board
“Delivered Duty Paid” (Entregado con derechos pagados, Los gastos de aduana de importación son asumidos por el vendedor. El tipo de transporte es polivalente/multimodal )means that the seller delivers the goods when the goods are placed at the disposal of the buyer, cleared for import on the arriving means of transport ready for unloading at the named place of destination
“Delivered at Terminal”(‘Entregado en terminal puerto de destino convenido, El incoterm DAT se utiliza para todos los tipos de transporte. Es uno de los dos nuevos Incoterms 2010 con DAP y reemplaza el incoterm DEQ. .) means that the seller delivers when the goods, once unloaded from the arriving means of transport, are placed at the disposal of the buyer at a named terminal at the named port or place of destination
The buyer should note that under CIP(transporte y seguro pagados hasta lugar de destino convenido, se usa para cualquier tipo de transporte ) the seller is required to obtain insurance only on minimum cover. Should the buyer wish to have more insurance protection, it will need either to agree as much expressly with the seller or to make its own extra insurance arrangements.
“Carriage Paid To”(Trasporte pagado hasta el lugar convenido, se utiliza para todo tipo de transporte, incluido el transporte "multimodal") means that the seller delivers the goods to the carrier or another person nominated by the seller at an agreed place
“Free Carrier” (Libre de transportista, el Incoterm: FCA se puede usar con cualquier tipo de transporte, aereo, ferroviario, o por carretera, es poco usado. ) means that the seller delivers the goods to the carrier or another person nominated by the buyer at the seller’s premises or another named place.
“Ex Works”(En fabrica, lugar: convenido, el Incoterm: EXW, se puede usar para cualquier tipo de tansporte o una combinacion de ellos, denominado transporte "multimodal" ) means that the seller delivers when it places the goods at the disposal of the buyer at the seller’s premises or at another named place
“Delivered at Place”( ‘entregado en un punto convenido, El Incoterm DAP se utiliza para todos los tipos de transporte. Es uno de los dos nuevos Incoterms 2010 con DAT. Reemplaza los Incoterms DAF, DDU y DES. ) means that the seller delivers when the goods are placed at the disposal of the buyer on the arriving means of transport ready for unloading at the named place of destination.
CFR – Cost and Freight
FAS – Free Alongside Ship
CIF – Cost, Insurance and Freight
“Free Alongside Ship”(Libre al costado del buque, el Incoterm FAS, es caracteristico de mercancias de cargas a granel o de carga voluminosa, se depositan en terminales de puerto.) means that the seller delivers when the goods are placed alongside the vessel (e.g., on a quay or a barge) nominated by the buyer at the named port of shipment.
“Free On Board”(Libre a bordo, el Incoterm FOB, se utiliza para carga general bidones, bobinas, contenedores, se usa exclusivamente para transporte en barco, ya sea fluvial o maritimo) means that the seller delivers the goods on board the vessel nominated by the buyer at the named port of shipment or procures the goods already so delivered
“Cost and Freight” (Costo y Flete, se utiliza para carga general, transportada en contenedores, no se usa para graneles, unicamente transporte maritimo.) means that the seller delivers the goods on board the vessel or procures the goods already so delivered. The risk of loss of or damage to the goods passes when the goods are on board the vessel.
Cost, Insurance and Freight (Costo, Seguro y Flete El incoterm CIF es uno de los más usados en el comercio internacional porque las condiciones de un precio CIF son las que marcan el valor en aduana de un producto que se importa. Se debe utilizar para carga general o convencional. )The seller must contract for and pay the costs and freight necessary to bring the goods to the named port of destination. The seller also contracts for insurance cover against the buyer’s risk of loss of or damage to the goods during the carriage.
