Stress is the body's response to a new or threatening situation, which disrupts homeostasis.

Distress is bad stress. This stress is harmful to our minds and bodies. Examples: Death, Accidents, Divorce. thumbs-down

Eustress is good stress. This creates motivation for us. Examples: Competitions, Big events, Projects. Thumbs_Up_Skin-Color



HOW DOES STRESS EFFECT MY BODY??


What does it feel like? Motivation to complete projects, attend events, do a good job.

What does it feel like. Overwhelming and makes you feel like you cannot do anything. Anxiety and Depression.

What Can I do when I am stressed?

Talk to a trusted adult.

Take time to calm down: listen to music, go outside, meditate.

Ask for help: Parents/Guardians, Friends, Teachers can help you.
