Compare and Contrast
The two disruptive behaviors I chose "rushing through work" and "unable to work independently", I thought would be opposite each other, but as I read through the tiers I found that having a reward system, especially after turning in their self-monitoring sheets and praising them often would help students refocus and work better. I also found that the data for both were similar to exactly the same.
Since I don't have a class yet and I don't teach, my experience is with my own children so I chose "rushing through work" and "unable to work independently" because I have one of each and in going through this exercise I can not only help my children, but also future students with the same problems.
