The term text will be used to refer to any written and spoken English. Some examples of texts can be:
postcards, novels, sermons, football commentaries, street signs, jokes, and air safety instructions.

The students´ English level may not be good enough to understand the text as these are complex. Alternatives to improve it would be to make more engaging text

Is important take into account the context of a word, because the “language is context-sensitive”. In other words, a word can have different meanings according to its context. It means that when words are taken out from context the word could be understood from other point of view.

The text for being fully intelligible needs knowledge about where and when the text has taken place, then distinguish the context of the surrounding text (co-text) and the context of the surrounding situation, additionally understand the culture plays an important role in some texts, it’s also known as context of culture.

- Ease= Activities that are simple to set up get better results
- Efficacy= how effective is your activity based on your expectations as teacher
