Stress, Rhythm and intonation

(Important for developing students' knowledge of language but not so much for developing students' listening skills!) :warning:
Teachers should select interesting texts and design interesting tasks that will arouse students' curiosity

prepare students for the language they will need in order to listen effectively (pre-teach specific vocabulary and expressions)
Students need to listen several times to understand. Between listenings we should give them “breathing” or “thinking” space. They can compare their answers to check their understanding
