Transport in the Industrial Revolution
This change had an impact on life in the country, it enabled people to seek new markets in previously out of reach places and helped raw materials and goods to be shipped to and from factories.
There was a dramatic improvement in Transport during this time, first roads then canals and finally railways. Prior to these changes it was very difficult to get people and goods around the country.
Agriculture
The science or practice of farming including growing and harvesting crops and raising animals.
Provides food and many raw materials humans need to survive.
The Agriculture Revolution happened because of the Industrial Revoulution (which increased the overall population)
the farming system changed from a ridge and furrow system to the Norfolk crop rotation system. No land was left fallow (left empty to recover) and growing clover helped replenish the soil nutrients to give better crop yields.
