Astrophysics a (Stellar Evolution
a description of the way that stars…
Astrophysics
Definition
branch of space science that applies the laws of physics and chemistry to explain the birth, life and death of stars, planets, galaxies, nebulae and other objects in the universe.
-
Exoplanet
- A planet outside the Solar System
- Planets that orbit a star other than our own sun
Types of stars:
1) Yellow Dwarf Stars
- Temperature: 5,000 - 7,300 °C
- Radius: 0.96 - 1.4
- Mass: 0.8 - 1.4
2) Orange Dwarf Stars
- Temperature: 3,500 - 5,000 °C
- Radius: 0.7 - 0.96
- Mass: 0.45 - 0.8
3) Blue Giant Stars
- Temperature: 7,300 - 200,000 °C
- Radius: 1.4 - 250
- Mass: 1.4 - 265
Supernova
- A powerful and luminous stellar explosion
- Each blast is the extremely bright, super-powerful explosion of a star
Causes of supernova:
- The “last hurrah” of a dying massive star
- Produces tons of energy
Brightness of supernova:
- Spectacular events can be so bright that they outshine their entire galaxies for a few days or even months
- Seen across the universe
Dark energy:
- A new kind of dynamical energy fluid or field, something that fills all of space
- Effect on the expansion of the universe is the opposite of that of matter and normal energy
Dark Matter:
- Dark matter is dark
- Dark matter is not clouds of normal matter
- Dark matter is not antimatter
- Dark matter is not black holes

Summary
In summary, I have learn a lot about this topic which is Astrophysics. Astrophysics creates physical theories of small to medium-size structures in the universe. From this topic we can know all about galaxies. Besides that, I also can learn more about this topic in UTM by learn in subject quantum physics. Quantum physics also known as quantum mechanics. Quantum mechanics is a fundamental theory in physics which describes nature at the smallest scales of atoms and subatomic particles.
