Separation of power
The first three sections of the Australian constitution describe the distinct position of the three major branches of government. It is the government, the executive and the judiciary. Such three powers of government are independent of one another. It ensures that one of them can not control the other

What does it do ?

Local Government
What does it do ?
Runs the garbage collection, parking and local parks.
Makes rules for our local community
Federal Government
What does it do ?
Defends the nation from any threat
Dealing with issues like immigration or with the environment
Develops good relationship with other countries
Manage Australia's money.
Makes laws for the entire country
