Equality during the work
CHINESE IMMIGRANTS:
15000 of us got imported from our home country to work for a bunch of random white men. We were paid half the wages of the white workers, got no medical care and we were assigned the most dangerous jobs. We were forced to live on reserves with white Canadians who was being racist day after day. We were paid just $1.00 a day.
FIRST NATIONS:
We were not forced to work for the CPR, but we lost our sacred land for the construction of the CPR. When the government took away our area, they made promises to us orally and written. We were forced to find new homes on the reserves, and we were often bullied there by the European colonizers. Many of us worked for the CPR to make money for our families.
EUROPEAN COLONIZERS:
Many of us started working for the CPR because of the benefits that it will bring to our family. We were paid $2.00-$2.50 a day which is not a bad salary, we got medical care and the tasks that we had to do were not as dangerous as the “asian” workers. We had to leave our families to be put on reserves with the other workers to build the railway.

:explode: The reason why I am stating the "Canadians" as European Colonizers is because they came from Europe to colonize Canada. The aboriginals are true Canadians. :explode:
