DIET:
The Angonoka turtle comes from a very remote area near Baly Bay in northwestern Madagascar.

Size
In this species on average the males are larger.Males long in carapace 36.1 cm to 48.6 cm and can weigh 7.2 to 18.9 Kg.

Females achieve a carapace length of 30.7 to 42.6 cm and weigh 5.5 to 12.0 Kg.
This species is endemic to Madagascar. Its distribution is limited to the northwest of the island in the vicinity of Baly Bay It inhabits the plains of the coast where there are bamboo forests, grassy areas, shrub areas and clear areas of vegetation.
