3D Models Breakthrough
Learning process
I will sort/group the ingredients and the things I will need to do, and I will order the easy to hard shapes in both slide and in pictures that I am going to take. Every week I will summarise/reflect what I have done on that certain day. I will research for information and compare and contrast the different websites. I will also compare and contrast the different models I have made. I will consider about what I will be making and weave together all the ideas and information I have gotten.
I will be building knowledge on 3D shapes and how they work before I start making them. I will find out about the shapes too.I will also be building knowledge on complicated maths, and geometry. I will start off building knowledge on 3d shapes then I will practice some shapes. I will practice with drawing the shapes and sketching the layouts before I make the shapes. I can predict what will happen to the shape. After building knowledge I will tryout and experient the shapes I have drawn. I will also need to bring what I know towards maths and geometry
First I will design the shapes solve the problems that's' in the drawing then I will then start to create some shapes. I will justify the reason why I am doing that certain shape. Deciding on the shapes would not take long, then I will start to take action and make them. In the end I will generalise everything and take a photo.
Why I choose this
I choose this for breakthrough because it is challenging and it can improve my maths. The 3D shapes in the pictures are very hard to make so I want to challenge myself and during making the shapes I will be able to learn how to work out the volume. I will also be able to get ready for college. This will be extreme maths for me and this is why I want to do it. I will be making these shapes with toothpicks or popsicle sticks. These are very simple ingredients. I have done quite a lot of breakthrough so this time I want to make something different and creative. This can make me more confident with 3D models. This will increase my score for Technology too.
My goal
My goal is to learn everything I can about 3D models, learn more about maths/volume, width, height, and length, and in the end I will try and make a very hard model with toothpicks and maybe if I have time I can make a 3D shape on paper like a piece of art. Work out the volume.
