Which Sport Team to Join at DHS
Soccer
Boys just won the league
People can get cut from this sport
Volleyball
The girls had a great season for the past two years and have won their league
Large student sections at their games compared to the other sports
Basketball
Boys Basketball - Not good so probably will be a short season
There are cuts, yet the boys team isn't that good so it's easier to get on
Girls Basketball - have won the league in the past 2 years and are doing well
No one is cut
Longer season because it is a winter sport
Hockey
Boys went to the garden last year
Boys were state champs last year and therefore had a longer season other than being a winter sport
Girls Hockey - no coach and no goalie...
Swimming
Swimming has won the league for about 13 seasons in a row
Low stress sport since no one is cut
Longer season because it is in the winter
If you qualify to be a varsity athlete it goes even longer
Running
There are a lot of injuries you can get from running
this is only really a problem if you do it a lot
The boys won the league and the girls were one point from winning it
No one gets cut
It's very cold in the winter because practice is outside
All seasons are pretty short unless you qualify for states
