The Falklands
British Island from 1833 but after Argentinian Independance they lay claim, britian was prepared to negotiate but the Islanders wanted to stay british :check:
1981 the HMS Endurance was withdrawn from the South Atlantic against the advice of the Forgien Secretary Carrington :red_cross:
Lor Carrington resigned and the Agrentinians launched an invasion force - Thatcher immediatly sent to retreae the island :red_cross:

Britian sunk a retreating Argentinian ship stopping any chance of a peacful end and may anti war protesters didnt like it , the general public did though :red_cross:
