Rationale: The pedagogies above align with UDL principles and the removal of barriers which allows access to all learners. Technology enables students to display their learning in various manners that suit them and their learning styles. Technology supports the learning by scaffolding the students throughout the lesson. By aiding the students with videos and photos of their local area it enables the development of the child's schema through 'assimilation or accommodation'. Technology also enables children to become active participants in their own learning and fosters the child's sense of independence.
