Ms. Mendenhall's Classroom Design Studio
The philosophy for my Design Studio is to allow my students to be as creative as possible. I also want them to enjoy learning and see how much fun it can be.
The 3D printer allows my students to make their creations come to life right before their eyes. In order to use the 3D printer, they will need an adult to help them.
3D Printer
The robotics station is the perfect station for my students that love to work with their hands and also love working with mechanical items. This is a station that they will need to have listened to prior instructions on how the station is operated.
Robotics
The media production stations is one the almost every student will enjoy. At this station students will learn how to use a green screen. This station will also require some adult supervision.
Media Production
Sculpture/Modeling
The sculpture/modeling is a very hands-on station that will require the students to get their hands dirty. This station also brings out the creative minds of the students.
Standards
5.P.1. Understand forces, motion and the relationship between them.
Junk Space
My design studio will also have a junk space. This space will have random items that the students can use to create whatever they want that is appropriate.
