by Cutting
New plants are developed by cutting a non-reproductive part of a plant and planting it in a suitable medium.
by Layering
A plants branch is bent until it can be covered by soil so a new root system will appear. New plants will form from this branch and eventually, the plants can be separated.
by Grafting
Two closely related variety of plants are used to develop a new plant with combined traits. One plant is attached to the other plant.
The stock plant is chosen for its roots and the scion plant for its stems, flowers, fruits etc.
