      - did not remember the abundance of your steadfast love
      - but rebelled at the red sea
        
        despised the pleasant land and had no faith in His promise
        
        murmured in their tents and did not obey the voice of the Lord
        
        Lord response: swore to them for making them fall in the wilderness and their offspring fall among the nations and scattering them among the lands
        
        angered Moses and went ill with him on their account
        
        Moses spoke rashly because they made his spirit bitter
        
        did not destroy the peoples as commanded by the Lord
