Two types of habitat components: (1) abiotic; components are nonliving and physical phenomena: climate, soil, latitude, altitude, and disturbances (fire, floods, and avalanches) ; (2) biotic: components are living factors: the plants itself, other plants species, and species of animals, fungi, protists, and prokaryotes.
