POPULATION
Each year the turtle population decreases by almost 30 percent of the annual amount, currently there are only 4 percent of the population that existed a hundred years ago.

HABITAT
These turtles live in almost all the oceans of the world, they nest in both tropical and subtropical beaches. The largest number of turtles live on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. They migrate long distances to feed, often crossing entire oceans.
