Physiology of each organ- what it does to help with physical and chemical digestion and absorption of nutrients

Based on list of upstream factors, what is not able to occur in his digestive system?
-
For each, indicate how this will impact the food he will be given.
The food he is given must already be digested in some way, e.i. liquid food (possibly blended)
-
What specifically will need to be provided in his feeding tube for him to adequately get the nutrients he needs? Explain why?
Liquid food (or formula) will have to be provided in the feeding tube in order for him to get the nutrients he needs.
This is because he is not able to digest his food properly and nutrients are not able to be absorbed. The esophagus, stomach, and duodenum all help with digesting food and absorbing the nutrients from that food, but with the tube, they are all being bypassed.
