PROBABILITY
What Is Probability?
Probability is the branch of mathematics concerning numerical descriptions of how likely an event is to occur, or how likely it is that a proposition is true. The probability of an event is a number between 0 and 1, where, roughly speaking, 0 indicates impossibility of the event and 1 indicates certainty.

Compounded Events
In general, a compund event consists of two or more simple events. Tossing a dice is a simple event, but tossing two dices or coins is a compound event.

Complement Of An Event
In probability theory, the complement of any event A is the event [not A], i.e. the event that A does not occur. The event A and its complement [not A] are mutually exclusive and exhaustive.
