I picked these two paintings because they seem to both have the same type of look in a way. They both tell a story, and have a meaning. The one of the battle just is a more straightforward than the one of the women.
Beauty- in the one of the women, there are repeating shapes and colors but thats because that's the message they are trying to give off.
Skill and Technique- The painting of the battle uses a lot of technique. It is very detailed and the pictures speaks what the message is.
Beauty- I think the colors do enhance the meaning of the painting, but it is a little hard to see every detail unless you really look
