What is Policy Change? 🏛
Policy change refers to adjustment
made to an existing public policy involving:
🖤 replacement of certain parts/aspects of a policy
🖤an adoption of a new policy to complement or to supplement the existing one and can even take a reform in nature ⚖️.
Types of Policy Change
Linear change :
change of an existing policy with certain part .
Nonlinear :
entire change in existing policy or
complete replacement with new one.

the process of ending policy

Intellectual Reluctance - Termination is rarely attempted is that political leaders are reluctant to admit or seem to admit past mistakes.
Institutional Permanence-public policy longevity concerns the tendency of all institutions to maintain themselves—to become immortal.
Anti-termination coalition-may be strongly committed and may intensely resist change and ignore contrary evidence
