Beam - is a collection of rays

if all the rays are coming together and meet at one point

if the rays are coming out from a small source and spread out
Shadow
Is the dark patch formed behind the object on a surface when it is placed in the path of light
Umbra is the central and the darkest part of the shadow
Penumbra is the region of partial darkness which surrounds the umbra
Transparent
Light can pass through completely
Rectilinear Propagation Of Light - light travelling in a straight line
