Purpose
Guard - to protect any user from hurting themselves and also to fan out more air in a certain direction.
Plug cord - Provides the fan with the electricity which helps the motor to do its job
Motor - takes electricity from the cord then starts and also runs the fan
Buttons - help select the speed you want the fan to work at
Blade - with the help of the motor, the blades move in the speed which is determined by the buttons
Complexity
Many more parts inside the fan work together, including motor, buttons, blade, etc... into running and fanning out air towards the person using it.
This device relies completely on electricity, and although it looks simple it is quite complex since it requires many small parts into making it a whole.
Is it a system?
Yes, we believe that it's a system because the fan's several components all work together to accomplish one goal.
