Associate Artist Network
1) CROSS COMPANY VISIONING
Ear to the ground.
The emergent, seedbed - ground up, inside to out. Listening to patterns and confluences across different Entelechy community's. Sharing across programmes. Discovering artistic innovation and growth in the everyday and the hidden stories led by our members. Reflection towards new company wide work/projects and inter-programme collaborations.
3 x yearly cross company visioning spaces. Some curated with specific themes, for eg.: all music and sound artists together to examine new cross-programme fusion, scope and potential; Zoe's hidden married couple story into theatre; film makers together and the different ways film manifests across the organisation - highlighting Entelechy as a film hub
3)PRODUCING ARM
Supporting individual or small groups of artists
to develop work through collaborative funding bids, initiated by them and in keeping with Entelechy's vision, strategy and values and principles, for e.g. Chris Green and Home. Finding new ideas from outside in that nourish the organisation
Artist 'surgery's' to discuss ideas, bids and provide support.
2) CPD and RESEARCH
Supports artists training, CPD, research, round tables, panels, talks, belonging, reflection , evaluation, dissemination
A university with a difference
Curate 4 x yearly gatherings with clear themes around CPD. Visiting speakers from other sectors or trainers. Reflection spaces, convivium's and round tables being part experiential, part discussion.
Themes can include: how to facilitate stories of sadness and joy - how, whether and when we acknowledge the difficult stories; evaluating evaluation
OUTCOMES/IMPACT
Artists will have a better sense of the whole. This will improve and change strategic vision., providing new and unexpected ideas.
Artists will feel a stronger sense of belonging to Entelechy and see it as a place to return to for nourishment and growth: i.e. John Lewis where employees own shares!
Create confidence in easily missed opportunitys that are happening in everday moments
Company wide productions will flow better
Supporting our teams to listen to and develop work that is led by our members
Entelechy already has a name for nurturing artists - we can strengthen and deepen this. Attract new funding to support this.
Artists exchange and learn from each other
Artist thinking and listening spaces can be the grassroots development for bigger symposiums opening up our own research nationally and internationally
Inviting key lead members and volunteers to these visioning and CPD reflection spaces
noticing patterns and ideas across the organisation both similar and different.
