In total 59 areas belong to the National System of Natural Parks, which cover 16,954,500 hectares.of which there is a direct use and an indirect use
How does it work? They receive protection for their recognized natural, ecological or cultural values. There are several types of protected areas, which vary according to the level of protection according to the enabling laws of each country or the regulations of the international organizations involved. However, in general, protected areas are understood to be those in which the human presence or at least the exploitation of natural resources
