Family
Khair
Father
Member of the Community: Khair is a respected member of the Street of Artisans community and a member of their local council.
Wizard
Focus School: Transmuter
Neglected Schools: Enchantment, Evocation
Highest Level Spells: Fabricate, Teleport, Telekinesis
Tradesman: Despite his wealth, religion and connections, Khair is a practical tradesman at heart. He has focused his magical expertise on practical magics, for lifting, shaping or moving. He has recently made an investment in the acquisition of a magical headband imbued with the knowledge of a highly talented rug weaver from Totra, to add an additional income stream through his newly mastered Fabrication spell
Attire: Khair prefers simple brown robes, albeit ones of fine cut and silk
Religion: Khair worships Nethys as a lay member of the Sothis temple, even hosting a lecture there once a month.
Shirin
Mother
Business Manager: Shirin manages the business aspects of professional wizardry, determining appropriate prices, finding contracts and managing appointments. She is the one who usually decides what spells Khair will prepare each morning.
Treasured Wife: Khair treats his wife after the Keleshite tradition, ensuring that she has access to the finest food, clothing and perfumes for her comfort and pleasure and she accepts these as her due.
What she would not accept however is the idea of sitting idle in these comforts, and after one very memorable dressing down Khair has never again proposed that she needn't work. In truth, she has long since convinced him of her happiness as part of their business partnership and he no longer even thinks otherwise.
Mentor: Shirin's role in Omari's education was more elementary, and more practical. Shirin was the one who taught Omari to write, to compute, to evaluate and to communicate and to strategise. In truth, more of her lessons have stuck than Khair's

Kephra
-
-
Arcane Magic
Omari nearly missed it in the midst of combat, but that was arcane magic Kephra used.
- Why didn't he just say he could do that when we were all talking about what we could do?
- Omari finds Kephra's practical approach to things even more interesting in light of his magic.
Maya
-
Casual Magical Affinity
Maya's ability to partially shapeshift catches Omari's attention. Though he's not really sure what to do or think about it other than to note it.
On one hand, how has this affected her life? On the other hand, it's Maya and he's not sure what 'unaffected' Maya would look like.
Rema
-
Divine Magic
Rema is a spellcaster, but Omari doesn't recognise his patron. Probably something to ask about when we get some time.
Wati
Shari
Psychic Magic
Shari seems to use magic of a kind that is much less familiar to Omari, which he finds intriguing.

Diplomacy
In addition to his father's tutoring on all matters magic, Omari received guidance in the value of things and the ways to work with clients and negotiate terms for contracts.

Flaws
Unambitious I've had a good life, and my talents have come easily to me. I have rarely had to strive.
Comfortable Ignorance I have rarely interacted with those without the basic tools to advance their wealth or station. I tend to assume the only barrier is desire
