Motion and Force
What is the graphical meaning of v-t?It means, Velocity time graph.Velocity-time graphs are used to describe the motion of objects which are moving in a straight line. They can be used to show acceleration and to work out displacement.
What is distance?
Distance is a scalar quantity that refers to "how much ground an object has covered" during its motion. Displacement is a vector quantity that refers to "how far out of place an object is"; it is the object's overall change in position.
Example for distance questions:A physics teacher walks 4 meters East, 2 meters South, 4 meters West, and finally 2 meters North. Even though the physics teacher has walked a total distance of 12 meters, her displacement is 0 meters. During the course of her motion, she has "covered 12 meters of ground" (distance = 12 m).
What is displacement?
Displacement is a vector quantity that refers to "how far out of place an object is"; it is the object's overall change in position.
Displacement = (final position) - (initial position) = change in position. D = Xf -Xi. D = displacement.
What is an example of displacement?
If an object moves relative to a reference frame—for example, if a professor moves to the right relative to a whiteboard, or a passenger moves toward the rear of an airplane—then the object's position changes. This change in position is known as displacement.
Displacement
What is speed?
Speed is a scalar quantity that refers to "how fast an object is
moving." Speed can be thought of as the rate at which an object covers distance. A fast-moving object has a high speed and covers a
relatively large distance in a short amount of time.
The formula for speed is speed =
distance ÷ time. To work out what the units are for speed, you need to know the units for distance and time. In this example, distance is in metres (m) and time is in seconds (s), so the units will be in metres per second (m/s).
What is velocity?
The velocity of an object is the rate of change of its position
with respect to a frame of reference, and is a function of
time. Velocity is equivalent to a specification of an object's speed and direction of motion..
Example for velocity:
Velocity is speed with a direction. Saying Ariel the Dog
runs at 9 km/h (kilometers per hour) is a speed. But
saying he runs 9 km/h Westwards is a velocity. Imagine something moving back and forth very fast: it has a high speed, but a low (or zero) velocity.
What is the formula of velocity?
Velocity (v) is a vector quantity that measures displacement (or change in position, Δs) over the change in time (Δt), represented by the equation v = Δs/Δt. Speed (or rate, r) is a scalar quantity that measures the distance traveled (d) over the change in time (Δt), represented by the equation r = d/Δt.

What is accleration?
Acceleration is the rate of change of velocity. Usually, acceleration means the speed is changing, but not always. When an object moves in a circular path at a constant speed, it is still accelerating, because the direction of its velocity is changing.
Acceleration formula:
Acceleration is the rate of change of velocity. Usually, acceleration means the speed is changing, but not always. When an object moves in a circular path at a constant speed, it is still accelerating, because the direction of its velocity is changing.
Acceleration example:
If a car turns a corner at constant speed, it is accelerating because its direction is changing. The quicker you turn, the greater the acceleration. So there is an acceleration when velocity changes either in magnitude (an increase or decrease in speed) or in direction, or both.
What is the graphical meaning of x-t? It means ,displacement- time graph.Displacement-time graphs show how the displacement of a moving object changes with time. A horizontal line on a displacement-time graph shows that the object is stationary (not moving because the displacement does not change) A sloping line on a displacement-time graph shows that the object is moving.

what is the graphical meaning of a-t?It means acceleration-time graph.acceleration time graph definition physics ile ilgili görsel sonucu
Acceleration vs Time Graphs. Acceleration vs time graphs tells us about an object's velocity the same way velocity vs time graphs tell us about an object's displacement. The change in velocity in a given time frame is equal to the area under the graph during that same time interval.

What is the distance formula? To solve for distance use the formula for distance d = st, or distance equals speed times time. Rate and speed are similar since they both represent some distance per unit time like miles per hour or kilometers per hour. If rate r is the same as speed s, r = s = d/t.
