Who studies Mycology and what do they do? Similarly, who studies climate change and its relationship with the fungi?
Mycologists observe fungi and plot their history. They know how to discern one species of these decomposers from another.
Who?
Mycologists, environmentalists, climatologists and ecologists.
How?
The change in climate, may it be drastic or subtle, will lead to some response from the world of fungi. It might be a change in their habits ad decomposing, or even bizarre evolutions and mutations.

When, if predicted, will these changes take place and how drastic or subtle will they be, during climate change?
Reproduction and abundance will be increased by the elevating level of CO2 in the air. Therefore, this will happen as climate change worsens and the carbon dioxide in the air increases.
