A node is a computer system which is connected to a network. It can be anything from a smartphone to a smart TV. It is typically a workstation such as a desktop computer or a laptop. It can also be a printer or a server.

Less expensive but will take a long time to secure all the wires into a safe place and also may take longer. :timer_clock:

You can share resources, example Printer, Laptops, Computer.
File server, anyone who can authenticate can access them files from any node that is connected to the Network.

Its less expensive to use wired network server, but the wires need to be boxed up, so its not dangerous.

You can easily back up all data if you have a network if things are lost. If you don't have a network and lose data, on your laptop or computer you lose it for ever unless its part of a LAN. You can run schedule back ups.
Backing up is making a spare copy, of what ever is on the computer.
