Medical/Nursing Interventions
NG to give GI rest or prevent aspiration from vomiting
Watch for s/s of hypovolemic shock
Proton pump inhibitor
Hypovolemic Shock

Drop on BP, increased HR
change in mental status
Low HGB, HCT, and platelets

finding where they're bleeding
Risks
Surgery

Medical/Nursing Intervention
PRBC - type and cross
IV fluids to increase fluids
Check VS q 15 min
O2 possibly
Find the bleed and stop it
