Assessments
Research Projects- Giving your students an end of a semester or at the end of a unit project that they find the information for themselves, using notes, books, computers, etc.
Final Exams- A final exam to asses the students knowledge learned over a period of time over a specific content area
Think-Pair-Share- The teacher ask a question, while the students think and then write down their answer and then are placed into groups to discuss.

Group Projects- Tasking each group to create a presentation that they've researched and made so they can present to the class.
Portfolios- Students will assess their own academic performance by taking assignments they've already completed and creating a portfolio.
Entrance Ticket- Giving a few questions to students before the start of a lesson to assess the students knowledge over the topic.
KWL- Students will write what they know first, what they want to learn next, and then what they learned.
STAAR- This is Texas standardized test for students to be tested on knowledge learned in the given grade level.
