Titles, Introductions, and Other
Performance Openers
If they do have a title, it is usually very self explanatory of the story such as "Elephants Dancing" which is about elephants dancing.
Rather than having a normal title, ASL folklore often has subjects or descriptions such as "the one about..."
While the title may be literal, the content is often metaphorical.
Body language usually signals the beginning and the end of the story/poem instead of a verbal or signing cue.
