New Updates
Phase 1
Create, delete, view, query and modify (e.g disable login, change profile, modify permissions, etc.) of users, groups and repositories
Communicate with the Ubiq Key and Repository Manager to obtain and store the user, group, repository and other persistent information
If users are managed within Ubiq (vs another identity provider), enable a password reset policy to be set; disable the password or force a password reset for a user; display time remaining until password must be reset
Multi-factor authentication, as determined by settings in the Key and Repository Manager. This may be turned on even for non-Ubiq ID provider modes
The fragments for repositories can be located on multiple directories, which can be on any combination of on-premises servers, sync folders or cloud-based storage locations.
The single manifest directory for a repository can be located on any of the above locations as defined for fragment directories
Search function on all drop-down menus, specifically for users, groups and repositories
-
Audit option for all operations, including time/user/location/action
Phase 3
-
-
Multiple Admins per Key and Repository Manager, able to manage a unique set of users, groups and repositories
-
-
Option to import users, groups and repositories from XLS file
Help screen to report version and license file details, including expiration and number of users
Security of this application is very important, so testing against standards such as OWASP or others is required.
Phase 2
-
In some cases, the Ubiq Key and Repository Manager will interface to Azure Active Directory, MS legacy AD or Okta to get the users and/or groups (but not repositories). In this case, the front-end will not create either users and/or groups, but will still display them and manage their relationships to the repositories. The Key and Repository Manager will communicate what functions are required/permitted.
