Health issues

Deaf people have a harder time reporting incidents due to communication barriers
accessing domestic violence resources can be difficult for a deaf person who signs
studies have proven deaf male and women are targeted more on a college campus 1.5x
The deaf community experience the same forms of abuse such as sexual, harassment sexual assault, robbery but at a higher rate.
Forms of discrimination
Qualified deaf people have been denied into med schools because of their deafness which is yet another example of discrimination
deaf individuals face discrimination when it comes to employers who are bias and will chose not to hire them

The hearing world often perceives the deaf community as less capable because of their deafness and will label them incompetent
